Description

  • Architect and implement front-end technology solutions using JavaScript, ReactJS, and Next.js.
  • Create secure data flows and implement Redux-based state management.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI, content, delivery, and development teams on user interface ideas and applications.
  • Review system requirements and interface designs to inform implementation.
  • Write, maintain, and run unit tests for the code you develop.
  • Review pull requests and refactor code to meet best practices and performance standards.
  • Develop highly responsive user interface components using React concepts.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and monitor front-end applications and performance.
  • Document application changes and updates.
  • Create and maintain component libraries.
  • Teach, mentor, and help build capabilities within the software engineering team.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Hands-on experience with JavaScript, ReactJS, and Next.js.
  • Knowledge of React tools including React.js, Webpack, Enzyme, Redux, and Flux.
  • Experience with web services and APIs, including HTTP, REST, and SOAP.
  • Strong mobile and web UI design experience across multi-screen resolutions.
  • Experience deploying, debugging, and troubleshooting applications.
  • A portfolio with at least 4 professional, real-world applications, including code samples and implementation discussion.
  • In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and front-end languages.
  • Experience with performance testing frameworks such as Mocha and Jest, and browser-based debugging/performance tools.
  • Knowledge of Git and source control practices.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset.
  • Ability to undergo and pass a public trust clearance.
