Description

  • Set the commercial strategy for Hyperone’s digital business to achieve growth goals approved by the Steering Committee.
  • Lead and enable a commercial team of 17 members, including 5 direct reports, to deliver annual business results.
  • Drive category management efforts to increase product listing percentage and improve category performance.
  • Negotiate annual rebates and incentive programs with top vendors to improve gross margin through commercial contracts.
  • Collaborate with vendors on initiatives that grow their brands and products.
  • Develop and manage rate cards for app banners, featured placements, SMS, and other promotional channels.
  • Shape and execute the digital strategy to increase app traffic through influencers, affiliates, and media buying.
  • Grow Hyperone’s brand presence across marketplaces and increase market share.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients to meet their office supply and employee giveaway needs.
  • Review monthly P&L performance, identify growth opportunities, and report business results versus budget with mitigation plans to the E-commerce Director.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of overall business experience, including 2–3 years in e-commerce or marketplace management.
  • Experience in retail or grocery sectors is highly preferred.
  • Experience managing or working with marketplaces such as Amazon, Jumia, or Noon is an advantage.
  • Excellent command of Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive performance.
  • Strong strategic thinking and the ability to align marketplace plans with business goals.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for working with internal teams, suppliers, and marketplace partners.
  • Results-oriented, goal-driven, and able to deliver measurable outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and profitability management.
