Description

  • Author and maintain documentation for developers, clients, and users.
  • Develop and refine prototypes to confirm requirements.
  • Program software according to project plans, including versions and sprints.
  • Test software against predetermined test plans.
  • Drive release, post-release support, versioning, and maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate with designers to create interfaces that follow design guidelines.
  • Build mobile APIs and web applications for mobile and browser clients.
  • Peer review team members’ code and incorporate feedback into development work.
  • Support sales and project managers with technical input for budgets and project schedules.
  • Write and maintain code for internal products and external client projects.
  • Work with other developers and quality assurance teams to resolve bugs.
  • Build reusable code and libraries for future use.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a closely related field; foreign degree equivalency accepted.
  • 7 years of post-degree progressive experience as a Software Developer or closely related role, or 5 years with a Master’s degree.
  • 7 years of experience (5 years with a Master’s degree) designing and architecting software across hardware, databases, browsers, file systems, and infrastructure.
  • 7 years of experience (5 years with a Master’s degree) using systematic software development practices, including requirements gathering, design, testing, debugging, and maintenance.
  • 7 years of experience (5 years with a Master’s degree) with data structures and algorithms.
  • 7 years of experience (5 years with a Master’s degree) with computer networks, protocols, network security, and internet data transmission.
  • 5 years of experience writing, analyzing, and debugging code in multiple programming languages.
  • 5 years of experience with software privacy and security, including secure coding, threat avoidance, and threat mitigation.
  • 5 years of experience with computation theory, including automation, human involvement, and ethical boundaries.
  • 5 years of experience teaching others about design’s impact on comprehensibility, maintainability, performance, and availability.
  • Experience may be gained concurrently.
  • Remote work permitted from anywhere in the U.S.

Benefits

  • Salary range of $155,000 to $230,000.
