Description

  • Own the architecture, implementation, and continuous improvement of SaaS security posture management (SSPM) and data loss prevention (DLP) platforms.
  • Define and evolve SaaS security standards, access models, and configuration baselines.
  • Build scalable SaaS lifecycle automations, including posture monitoring, alerting, and remediation workflows.
  • Partner with Security Operations, IT, GRC, and Product Security to embed SaaS security into enterprise processes.
  • Integrate SaaS security controls into identity management, onboarding/offboarding, and vendor risk workflows.
  • Investigate SaaS-related alerts and drive rapid, documented, and systemic remediation.
  • Integrate SaaS controls into SIEM and SOAR systems such as Splunk and Tines.
  • Contribute to compliance alignment for HIPAA, HITRUST, and SOC 2 requirements.
  • Mentor peers and share SaaS security expertise across Security and IT teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Security Engineering or Cloud Security roles.
  • Experience with SaaS ecosystems, automation, and data protection.
  • Proven success implementing and managing SSPM and DLP tools such as AppOmni, Obsidian, BetterCloud, Nightfall, and Netskope.
  • Demonstrated experience integrating SaaS controls into SIEM/SOAR systems and automating detection, response, and reporting.
  • Working knowledge of data classification, privacy, and governance frameworks relevant to healthcare or regulated industries.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence technical and executive stakeholders.
  • A builder’s mindset with a practical, automation-oriented approach focused on scalable outcomes.
  • Bonus: direct experience supporting HIPAA, HITRUST, or SOC 2 compliance.
  • Bonus: prior experience securing cloud-first healthcare or fintech environments.
