Description

  • Respond to level two issues and escalations from the Network Operations Center or service desk.
  • Resolve cases submitted by clients or automatically alerted by monitoring tools.
  • Troubleshoot advanced Microsoft 365 issues and provide solution options and recommendations.
  • Proactively escalate issues within Microsoft 365 tenant environments when needed.
  • Conduct performance assessments of clients’ Microsoft 365 environments and identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Assist team members with case resolution and gather information for client or Client Success Manager reporting.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers and peers across the Managed Services Practice to resolve issues.
  • Develop, maintain, and update technical knowledge base articles.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation and perform after-hours or weekend work as required.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of technical support and/or design and implementation experience with Microsoft 365 collaboration technologies for a Managed Services Provider.
  • Experience with Entra ID, including Conditional Access Policies, MFA, and Privileged Identity Management.
  • Experience with Microsoft Defender, including Endpoint, Policies, XDR, Cloud workload protections, and DLP Policies.
  • Experience with Microsoft Exchange Online, Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Management, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft OneDrive for Business.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 cloud solutions, Microsoft 365 management, and administration.
  • Scripting experience for automation, such as PowerShell or VBScript.
  • At least one certification: MS-102, SC-200, SC-300, or SC-900.
  • Three or more years in a Microsoft environment including Microsoft 365 (preferred).
  • Experience with on-premises Microsoft technologies such as Exchange 2019 and newer, SharePoint on-premises, and SharePoint Framework (preferred).
  • Intermediate understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, Microsoft Sentinel, MSP environments, ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, and monitoring tools such as LogicMonitor (preferred).
