Description

  • Review, draft, and negotiate vendor, client, data privacy, service, and nondisclosure agreements.
  • Execute redlines and recommend strategic approaches to secure favorable contract positions.
  • Provide practical legal guidance to internal teams as a trusted advisor.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to support compliance and governance efforts.
  • Ensure timely contract reviews and adherence to service-level agreements.
  • Suggest and implement process improvements within the legal function.
  • Develop and deliver mini-trainings on compliance topics for internal stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the bar in any U.S. jurisdiction.
  • Up to 5 years of experience in a corporate compliance or legal environment, including internships or clerkships.
  • Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to interpret and apply legal principles.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in contract negotiation and drafting.
  • Familiarity with corporate governance and compliance issues.
  • Proficiency with legal research tools such as Westlaw or LexisNexis.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems effectively.
  • Familiarity with CLM or compliance management software is preferred.
  • Experience delivering compliance training to non-legal stakeholders is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
