Description

Assist the General Counsel, legal department, and senior management with a variety of legal issues across the ActiveCampaign family of businesses.
Draft, negotiate, and review customer, vendor, strategic partnership, NDA, master services, and license agreements.
Serve as legal advisor to internal departments and committees as requested.
Maintain and oversee relationships with external counsel as needed.
Work with revenue operations and legal operations teams to improve, refine, and automate contractual workflows.
Partner with company leaders to identify and manage practical and legal risk.
Design and maintain legal resources, including contractual playbooks.
Support legal operations efforts that streamline and improve contract processes.

Requirements

4-year college degree and Juris Doctorate degree.
Active membership in good standing with a State Bar.
3+ years of attorney experience focused on transactional, commercial, or corporate law, preferably with a SaaS or technology company.
Proven experience negotiating contracts across a range of risk and value levels.
Experience designing and maintaining legal resources such as contractual playbooks.
Experience with tech industry clients and familiarity with global data privacy and data protection laws, including GDPR and CCPA.
Familiarity with contract management software (CMS), with Ironclad and/or Zip experience preferred.
Experience advising clients with global operations and understanding international business nuances.
Excellent research and project management skills.
Strong organization and self-motivation with the ability to manage multiple tasks on time.

Benefits

Base salary range of $168,000 to $210,000 per year.
