Description

  • Define and execute a North America field events plan that supports brand visibility and measurable business goals.
  • Develop and execute localized marketing strategies to generate demand, leads, and pipeline in specific regions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver aligned event programs.
  • Plan and execute events ranging from executive dinners to multi-city roadshows with clear objectives and measurement.
  • Lead end-to-end event execution, including budgeting, pre- and post-event marketing, logistics, and vendor management.
  • Track attendance, leads, opportunities, pipeline impact, and client feedback to evaluate event performance.
  • Present event metrics, KPIs, and actionable insights to stakeholders to support continuous improvement.
  • Leverage company websites, online content, industry trends, and emerging technologies to improve event effectiveness and client experience.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of field or corporate events management experience in a technology, software, or e-commerce organization, with a focus on North America events.
  • Experience in events and field marketing within the e-commerce sector.
  • Experience leading and executing industry events similar to Shoptalk, NRF, or eTail.
  • Proven ownership and management of event budgets across different scales and levels of complexity.
  • Experience planning events with clearly defined budgets, objectives, and measurable KPIs.
  • Strong understanding of core marketing metrics and how to apply them to event success and field marketing impact.
  • Experience with event management tools and platforms such as Asana, Marketo, Cvent, Salesforce, HubSpot, and virtual event platforms.
  • Excellent project management, communication, and organizational skills with strong attention to detail and deadline management.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with senior cross-functional stakeholders, including Sales and Client Success.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience supporting events across diverse industries and market segments in North America preferred.
  • Experience working directly with sales to drive measurable results preferred.
  • Preferably based on the U.S. East Coast for collaboration with a global field marketing team.
  • Travel required: 25%–40%.

  • Expected base pay range of $100,000 to $145,000 per year.
  • Discretionary bonus of 12% of annual base salary for non-sales roles.
