Description

  • Create and implement automated configuration and deployment processes for the platform and related services.
  • Establish and manage administrator and service accounts.
  • Maintain accurate system documentation and resolve technical issues.
  • Build self-service capabilities within the Platform as a Service using scripting tools.
  • Collaborate with developers to diagnose and troubleshoot problems.
  • Take operational responsibility for the services owned by the team.
  • Continuously improve the product to better meet user needs.
  • Work closely with clients and participate in collaborative team delivery.
  • Support project success and client satisfaction through daily product delivery.

Requirements

  • 6-10 years of experience in cloud/platform operations or related roles across diverse environments.
  • Experience administering cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Expertise in container orchestration, specifically Kubernetes.
  • Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools, especially Terraform.
  • Strong Linux systems administration experience.
  • Experience developing automation solutions using scripting languages.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts and technologies such as load balancers, DNS, SSL, firewalls, NAT, and NTP.
  • Ability to troubleshoot operating systems and applications, including large-scale production systems.
  • Excellent communication skills and interest in collaborative work environments.
  • BA/BS in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance and U.S. citizenship required for Federal Government work.
  • Preferred experience troubleshooting via the Linux/Unix command line.
  • Preferred professional certifications such as RHCE, Linux+, MCSA, AWS Solutions Architect, AWS Developer, Security+, CISSP, or CCNA.
  • Background in DevOps automation practices.
  • Direct experience in client interaction.
