Description

  • Perform forensic delay analysis on construction project schedules and produce written reports detailing findings.
  • Analyze contract, change order, cost overrun, damages, and quantum issues in complex construction claims and disputes.
  • Research and analyze contemporaneous project documentation to support claim evaluations.
  • Manage multiple projects and coordinate with support team members to deliver client reports on time.
  • Work on construction claims involving subcontractor default, surety, professional liability, builders risk, delay-in-startup, and loss of productivity issues.
  • Support insurance carriers, law firms, owners, developers, and contractors with forensic consulting work.
  • Conduct site visits and review project operations such as change orders, RFIs, submittals, and daily reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management.
  • 2-5+ years of experience in forensic delay analysis.
  • 5-7+ years of experience performing CPM scheduling and cost analysis work.
  • 2-5+ years of experience analyzing construction claim damages, including delay damages.
  • Knowledge of architecture, civil, structural, MEP, and building enclosure systems for commercial, retail, and high-rise residential buildings.
  • Proficiency in P6 scheduling software, with experience in MS Project and Asta.
  • Proficiency in third-party schedule analysis software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including PowerBI, Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience coordinating internally and externally with disciplines and consultants/architects.
  • Experience working on construction sites and performing site walks/visits and project management operations.
  • Testifying experience is a plus.
  • Ability to meet required overtime and up to 25% travel, including overnight travel.
