Description

  • Perform all site monitoring visit activities, including PSV, SIV, IMV, and COV visits.
  • Conduct onsite and remote monitoring across multiple protocols and perform study closure activities.
  • Participate in site selection with oversight from the Clinical Team Lead.
  • Identify site deficiencies, support corrective actions, and follow up until issues are resolved.
  • Contribute to the development and review of protocols, study tools, materials, and trial documentation.
  • Mentor, train, and co-monitor junior clinical team members.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with clinical sites and internal Rho teams.
  • Communicate project goals and critical requirements to sites and stakeholders.
  • Attend and present at meetings and conferences, including Investigator Meetings.
  • Participate in RFP and business development meetings and contribute to internal SOP and process initiatives.

Requirements

  • BA/BS, preferably in life science, nursing, pharmacy, or a related field.
  • Approximately 4-5+ years of on-site monitoring experience in the CRO, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology industry.
  • Demonstrated understanding of medical/therapeutic area knowledge and medical terminology for clinical protocol execution.
  • Computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Office and EDC systems.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent organization skills and the ability to manage multiple sites and protocols within time and budget constraints.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality scientific standards.
  • Honesty, integrity, willingness to learn, and ability to train within a collaborative team culture.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to work in a remote role located within 1 hour of a US metropolitan airport and travel 8-10 site visit days per month, up to 80% travel.
