Description

  • Serve as the primary point of contact and escalation point for the client.
  • Coordinate and oversee all functional services and external vendors against the approved timeline and budget.
  • Manage study budgets, identify out-of-scope work early, and drive closure and execution with support as needed.
  • Collaborate with clinical operations and other functional teams in delivering the program and, when needed, perform clinical activities for limited-scope projects.
  • Manage the financial health of assigned studies, including profitability, billable hours, billing accuracy, and forecasting.
  • Develop detailed project plans with timelines, risk management, and mitigation strategies.
  • Oversee quality management activities, including eTMF inspection readiness and corrective/preventative action plans.
  • Establish tracking metrics to monitor trial and team progress toward project goals.
  • Prepare status updates and present progress, KPIs, solutions, and opportunities to clients and senior management.
  • Lead internal and client meetings, set team expectations, and communicate protocol or study issues and deviations with appropriate actions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a science or health-related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of clinical research experience or proven competencies, including at least 4 years of direct project management experience.
  • Experience managing complex, global trials.
  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally, including overnight stays.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products, Microsoft Project, eTMF, EDC, and CTMS.
  • Proven communication and interpersonal skills in a team setting.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a customer service-oriented approach.
  • Knowledge of ICH-GCP and relevant Precision SOPs, with the ability to apply them.
  • Direct work experience in a global, cross-functional project management environment.
  • In-depth experience in pharmaceutical and/or device research required; oncology and cell and/or gene therapy experience preferred.
