Description

  • Create and monitor study timelines and project plans.
  • Recommend and execute risk management plans.
  • Identify project issues and lead resolution within the team.
  • Review and develop protocols, consent forms, manuals of procedures, and other study documents.
  • Oversee operational aspects of protocols with clinical sites and respond to site questions or route them to the appropriate team members.
  • Manage project resources by assigning tasks to staff and vendors appropriately.
  • Manage team dynamics, provide frequent feedback, and mentor, train, and orient team members.
  • Ensure study websites and tracking systems contain current and accurate information.
  • Ensure studies adhere to federal regulations and funding agency oversight requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in life science or public health.
  • 4 years of experience managing clinical research projects in some capacity.
  • Familiarity with clinical site operations and management.
  • Understanding of protocol development and/or review.
  • Understanding of the drug development process and federal regulations.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality scientific standards.
  • Ability to work with honesty, integrity, loyalty, accountability, and mutual trust.
  • Critical thinking and ability to develop practical solutions.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and environments.
