Description

  • Define and evolve Rho’s patient recruitment strategy framework, standards, tools, and decision-making models across clinical programs.
  • Develop trial-, country-, and site-level recruitment strategies based on protocol design, feasibility inputs, patient population, competition, and operational constraints.
  • Translate feasibility insights into actionable recruitment plans and channel mix recommendations.
  • Serve as strategic recruitment lead on select trials during study start-up and enrollment, including risk mitigation and strategic pivots.
  • Advise Clinical Management and study teams on site- and study-level recruitment plans and messaging.
  • Support RFPs and proposal development by writing recruitment narratives, informing enrollment assumptions, and contributing to bid defense meetings.
  • Lead vendor prioritization, selection, onboarding, governance, and performance oversight for external recruitment services.
  • Monitor recruitment KPIs and analytics, identify enrollment risks, and recommend corrective actions to optimize spend and outcomes.
  • Act as a cross-functional leader and internal thought partner on recruitment innovation, standardization, and best practices.
  • Serve as the escalation point and strategic advisor for complex, high-risk recruitment challenges.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a clinical- or life science-adjacent field required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience establishing or governing recruitment strategy frameworks at a functional or organizational level.
  • Strong experience developing recruitment strategy across proposal development, feasibility, and study execution.
  • Experience collaborating with feasibility, study start-up, and/or clinical operations to build protocol-tailored recruitment strategies.
  • Hands-on experience supporting RFPs and proposal development related to recruitment strategy.
  • Experience authoring trial-, country-, and site-level recruitment plans.
  • Experience using patient burden, access barriers, and equity considerations to shape recruitment decisions.
  • Familiarity with digital recruitment channels and emerging patient engagement technologies, including AI-enabled targeting, prescreening, and analytics tools.
  • Strong experience managing, interpreting, and leveraging patient recruitment data and metrics.
  • Experience prospecting, prioritizing, and negotiating pricing structures with recruitment vendors.
  • Experience building or scaling a new function or capability within a CRO or biopharma environment preferred.
  • Experience developing recruitment strategies for single virtual site/DCT trials preferred.
  • Therapeutic experience in neuroscience, respiratory, pain, or immunology preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
