Description

  • Manage monthly accounting activities for domestic and international locations, including accounts payable, bank reconciliations, fixed asset analysis, benefit allocations, accruals, and prepaids.
  • Review general ledger accounts and perform necessary reclassifications.
  • Prepare, file, and remit monthly sales and use tax returns and payments.
  • Complete daily bank reconciliations for domestic and international accounts.
  • Maintain fixed asset and depreciation schedules, including capitalizing purchases and booking monthly depreciation.
  • Record corporate card expenses and payroll entries in the general ledger.
  • Support month-end and year-end close activities.
  • Maintain and balance accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions, and resolving discrepancies.
  • Assist with annual external audit requests, materials, and schedules.
  • Partner with the Controller on financial analysis, reports, and dashboards to track performance metrics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in accounting or a closely related field.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, and Power BI.
  • High integrity and the ability to handle sensitive or confidential information.
  • Detail-oriented, self-starting, disciplined, and able to work independently in a high-volume environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven setting.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with minimal upfront guidance.
  • Experience preparing balance sheet and income statement flux analysis.
  • Experience designing reports and dashboards with a Controller is a plus.
