Description

  • Receive and review scheduled trip requests from Zoho Desk and MOVI.
  • Verify pickup and drop-off details, service levels, special accommodations, eligibility, authorization, and trip readiness before dispatch.
  • Assign trips to drivers based on availability, vehicle type, location, and service level.
  • Communicate trip details, changes, special instructions, and urgent requests to drivers.
  • Monitor driver status and active trips throughout the day to maintain schedules and on-time performance.
  • Respond to delays, no-shows, cancellations, breakdowns, and other real-time service disruptions.
  • Serve as a point of contact for doctor offices, facilities, staff, and family members regarding transportation status and ETAs.
  • Coordinate with facilities on wait times, return trips, and same-day changes.
  • Enter and update trip statuses in dispatch and transportation management systems and complete required notes and compliance documentation.
  • Proactively resolve scheduling conflicts, missed trips, and coverage gaps while escalating issues when needed.

Requirements

  • Experience in transportation, logistics, or dispatch operations is required.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency with scheduling and management software such as Zoho Desk, MOVI, or PCC.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Familiarity with healthcare scheduling and transportation coordination is preferred.
  • Familiarity with NEMT operations, driver coordination, and compliance requirements is a plus.
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Effective coordination, teamwork, and customer service orientation.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance processes.
