Description

  • Own the roadmap for customer and third-party data ingestion and sharing data back out through customer-facing APIs.
  • Prioritize high-impact data sources and signals for campaigns and proposals based on impact, effort, and operational cost.
  • Manage selection, implementation, and ongoing performance of the ingestion/integration vendor, including SLAs, security, privacy, and roadmap alignment.
  • Standardize repeatable onboarding and ingestion patterns to reduce bespoke integrations.
  • Define and enforce schemas, metadata expectations, and validation rules to keep data trustworthy and usable.
  • Improve observability and self-serve diagnostics for freshness, failures, and onboarding status.
  • Partner with engineering and analytics to ship platform capabilities with clear requirements, milestones, and adoption plans.
  • Align stakeholders, communicate decisions broadly, and help resolve cross-functional tradeoffs.
  • Build a deep understanding of upstream and downstream systems, including CDP integrations, and how they shape data requirements.
  • Establish operating processes for intake, prioritization, triage, dashboards, and runbooks.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product management experience with a focus on data products and platform integrations.
  • Proficiency in SQL, with PostgreSQL preferred.
  • Experience with data integrations such as APIs, file-based ingestion, and event streams.
  • Experience with data warehousing, with AWS Redshift preferred.
  • Familiarity with integration or ETL tools such as Fivetran or similar platforms.
  • Experience with CDPs (customer data platforms) is a strong plus.
  • Experience evaluating and managing vendors or partners for technical platforms is preferred.
  • Strong ability to translate user needs into technical requirements for complex systems, including via vendor platforms.
  • Ability to operate in ambiguity, make clear tradeoffs, and drive cross-functional execution.
  • Familiarity with data privacy regulations and compliance is preferred.
  • Ad tech experience or knowledge of the digital advertising market is preferred.
