Description

  • Build and maintain an internal data warehouse that aggregates and organizes data from multiple source systems on a recurring basis.
  • Develop dynamic reports that support complex business analysis and help business users answer data-driven questions.
  • Communicate across business groups to establish a single source of truth for data.
  • Define and align on critical business metrics with department leaders.
  • Analyze and master data structures across systems such as Salesforce, NetSuite, and internal databases.
  • Use ETL and streaming tools such as Apache Airflow and Kafka Connect to move data between systems.
  • Build and maintain a cloud data warehouse, such as BigQuery.
  • Use business intelligence tools such as Looker to create data models.
  • Help transition and stabilize the new data architecture.
  • Monitor data pipelines and sources, and set up active alerting for issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience with data warehouses and business intelligence platforms.
  • Meaningful experience with Python or a similar language.
  • Meaningful experience with Apache Airflow.
  • Meaningful experience with Google BigQuery.
  • Meaningful experience with SQL.
  • Experience with cloud data warehouses.
  • Familiarity with data ecosystems.
  • Experience with tools such as Kafka Connect and Looker is preferred.
  • Located in the city listed in the job application, as this role is remote but locally restricted.
