Description

  • Build and maintain strategic contractor relationships and serve as a trusted advisor in the field.
  • Collaborate with program teams to align execution with program goals, KPIs, regulatory requirements, and market conditions.
  • Design and deliver training initiatives that improve installation quality, contractor performance, and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct onsite ride-alongs to reinforce training, assess field performance, and provide real-time coaching.
  • Partner with contractors to resolve issues, improve outcomes, and support consistent program success.
  • Translate client and program priorities into actionable work plans and manage multiple concurrent projects to schedule.
  • Ensure contractor compliance, service quality, and achievement of performance metrics.
  • Analyze performance data and prepare required electronic reports using Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and results.
  • Ensure contractors follow safety requirements and program guidelines in customer homes.

Requirements

  • Two years of college or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to travel up to 80% within the Bay Area and other parts of PG&E’s service territory.
  • 5+ years of experience in the energy efficiency industry with strong knowledge of contractor networks and the contractor landscape.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and work effectively with diverse individuals and businesses.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong interest in sustainability, energy efficiency, and supporting the organization’s mission.
  • NGAT (Natural Gas Appliance Testing Technician) certification.
  • Valid California driver’s license, clean driving record, and required auto insurance.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and web-based applications.
  • Preferred: experience performing inspections and delivering technical training.
  • Preferred: 3+ years of experience working with residential contractors, ideally within energy efficiency programs.
  • Preferred: experience using a Salesforce-based CRM.
  • Preferred: self-motivated, proactive, detail-oriented, and experienced in successful project management.

  • Yearly compensation range of $55,000 to $70,000.
  • Eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus.
