Description

  • Create test case scenarios to improve test coverage using C# and .NET.
  • Design, build, and maintain automation frameworks for UI, API, integration, and performance testing.
  • Develop and execute automated test suites for functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Create test strategies for REST API migrations from legacy SOAP/WCF services.
  • Perform end-to-end testing of API workflows, including authentication and authorization flows.
  • Validate OpenAPI/Swagger specifications against API implementations.
  • Test adapter layers and file-based interface translations to ensure backward compatibility and data integrity.
  • Run regression and integration testing across internal, external, and card-related systems.
  • Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines and maintain it in containerized/cloud environments.
  • Conduct load, performance, observability, and code review activities to improve quality and resilience.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in software test automation, SDET, or development roles.
  • Strong programming skills in C#/.NET or a similar object-oriented language.
  • Hands-on experience building UI automation frameworks with Cypress, Selenium, or Playwright.
  • Hands-on experience building API automation with Postman, REST Assured, SoapUI, or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of REST, SOAP, and WCF protocols and integration testing between modern and legacy services.
  • Experience testing OAuth 2.0 authentication flows and familiarity with MFA implementations.
  • Knowledge of OpenAPI/Swagger specifications and contract validation.
  • Experience with unit testing frameworks such as NUnit, MSTest, or xUnit.
  • Hands-on experience building load and performance tests with JMeter, Gatling, or LoadRunner.
  • Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
  • Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • Experience participating in code reviews and providing feedback on coverage and quality.
  • Background in cards, payments, fintech, health tech, or other regulated industries (preferred).
  • Strong debugging skills in distributed system environments (preferred).
  • Experience testing adapter layers, file-based interfaces, and backward compatibility across legacy and modern systems (preferred).
  • Experience with IVR integrations, particularly Presidio IVR systems (preferred).
  • Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Application Insights, Datadog, or Splunk (preferred).
  • Experience mentoring developers and QA engineers in automation practices (preferred).
  • Engagement length of 12 months or more.
  • Availability to work CST hours, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
  • Ability to accommodate occasional overtime of 1-2 hours for a few days at a time.
  • Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) arrangement.
