Description

  • Extract data from SQL and NoSQL databases, including Snowflake and MongoDB, to support psychometric analyses and operational reporting.
  • Validate data through rigorous transformation, documentation, and integrity checks.
  • Analyze item and test content, quality, and performance using statistical and psychometric methods.
  • Support psychometricians with advanced analyses such as IRT modeling, reliability studies, and norming.
  • Validate assessment logic to ensure scoring rules, branching, and performance assumptions work as intended.
  • Define, calculate, and track assessment quality and performance metrics across programs.
  • Design and implement research studies, simulations, and data mining projects to study assessment behavior and drive improvement.
  • Communicate analytical findings through reports, visualizations, dashboards, and presentations for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Maintain current knowledge of statistical methods, psychometric best practices, and modern data engineering workflows.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, data science, or a related field from a four-year accredited college or university.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience implementing analysis and testing plans and defining and tracking metrics, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Extensive database management experience with both structured (SQL) and unstructured (NoSQL) databases, especially MongoDB.
  • Ability to manipulate and analyze data in SAS, R, and Python.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well within a team and cross-functionally.
  • Master’s degree in Statistics or a related field is preferred.
  • Ability to work in the United States without employer visa sponsorship.
  • Experience with psychometric analysis methods such as IRT modeling, reliability studies, or norming is preferred.
