Description

  • Improve identity and access services centered on Okta, including SSO, provisioning, MFA, access policies, and emergency access.
  • Administer and enhance Google Workspace, including users, groups, Gmail, Drive, shared drives, and security settings.
  • Lead JumpCloud and endpoint management practices across macOS, Windows, and Linux.
  • Design and automate employee onboarding, role changes, and offboarding using Okta Workflows, n8n, Python, APIs, and webhooks.
  • Assess systems, identify gaps, investigate complex issues, address root causes, and deliver continuous improvements.
  • Administer SaaS applications and establish processes for integrations, access requests, approvals, and reviews.
  • Implement security and compliance controls and automate evidence collection for ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type 2.
  • Lead projects from technical scoping through rollout and handover while coordinating dependencies and communicating risks.
  • Document processes, share knowledge, mentor colleagues, and collaborate with IT, Security, Risk, and Audit teams.

Requirements

  • Typically 6+ years of experience in IT engineering, systems administration, identity, or endpoint management; equivalent experience is considered.
  • Hands-on experience across identity, collaboration tools, endpoint management, and SaaS administration.
  • Strong expertise in at least one of Okta, Google Workspace, or JumpCloud, with working ability across the others.
  • Experience deploying or significantly improving an MDM or endpoint management platform.
  • Ability to build reliable automation using workflow tools, APIs, webhooks, and Python or a comparable scripting language.
  • Experience assessing, improving, and delivering systems or processes with measurable results.
  • Independent judgment, technical ownership, problem-solving, and ability to communicate trade-offs clearly.
  • Experience implementing security controls, access reviews, secure configurations, or device policies; ISO 27001 or SOC 2 experience is valuable.
  • Clear communication and collaboration skills in a fully remote, multicultural environment.
  • Preferred: M&A integration experience, developer-heavy company experience, ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type 2 experience, or professional French proficiency; legal authorization to work in Canada, France, Germany, Spain, or the UK is required.
