Description

  • Design and build data models that transform raw data into useful metrics and data products using DBT and medallion architecture.
  • Define and track key business metrics for products and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with technical and non-technical teams to gather requirements and share data best practices.
  • Lead data modeling projects and choose the right tools and approach for delivery.
  • Work with large and petabyte-scale datasets to support data-driven decisions.
  • Advise partner teams by creating and explaining analytical metrics.
  • Improve team processes and code through well-documented, reusable solutions.
  • Use and help evolve the modern data stack, including GCP BigQuery, AWS S3, Fivetran, Hightouch, and AI tools.
  • Support projects involving Salesforce and financial data integration, AI tools, and cloud cost modeling (FinOps).
  • Work effectively with a remote, global team in an asynchronous environment.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with SQL and DBT in production environments.
  • Good working knowledge of Python, Git, and CI/CD.
  • Solid experience building data models for large datasets, including petabyte-scale data.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS.
  • Ability to evaluate technical tradeoffs, communicate clearly, and work asynchronously.
  • Experience explaining solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Comfort working remotely, managing time well, and collaborating across multiple teams.
  • Prior experience with FinOps principles or FOCUS data models is a plus.
  • Experience or interest in building AI data agents and AI-assisted data workflows is a plus.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in France, Germany, Spain, or the United Kingdom; visa sponsorship is not available.
