Description

  • Own the full recruitment lifecycle for engineering and technical roles, including intake, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offers, and closing.
  • Partner with engineering leadership to define hiring needs and build hiring plans aligned with business priorities.
  • Source and engage passive candidates across multiple geographies and time zones.
  • Build the technical hiring process from the ground up, including structured interviews, scorecards, feedback loops, and debrief formats.
  • Coach hiring managers on effective interviewing and evidence-based hiring decisions.
  • Maintain high-quality ATS data in Workable, including clean pipelines and accurate reporting.
  • Reduce reliance on agencies by strengthening direct sourcing capabilities.
  • Contribute to broader talent acquisition process improvements as the function matures.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of end-to-end technical or engineering recruitment experience, ideally in-house at a scale-up or high-growth company.
  • Experience building hiring processes from scratch rather than only operating within existing ones.
  • Strong sourcing skills with the ability to find and attract passive engineering candidates.
  • Ability to speak credibly with engineering leaders about technical hiring needs.
  • Comfort using ATS platforms; Workable experience is a plus.
  • Experience hiring across multiple geographies and time zones.
  • Hands-on, no-ego approach with willingness to source, screen, schedule, and support wherever needed.
  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to push back constructively when needed.
  • Experience at a remote-first or globally distributed company is preferred.
  • Familiarity with competency-based interviewing and structured assessment methods is preferred.
  • Exposure to hiring in complex markets such as the Middle East, Africa, or emerging markets is preferred.
  • Background in fintech, HRTech, or other complex operational domains is preferred.
