Description

  • Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and pain points across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that improve the product management experience.
  • Lead efforts across engineering, design, and operations to launch high-impact projects.
  • Build elegant solutions to complex payroll and operational problems with engineers, designers, and operational counterparts.
  • Shape and deliver improvements within a focused area of the product.
  • Help advance key KPIs aligned to the team’s goals.
  • Collaborate with partner teams, including operations, to align the roadmap with stakeholder needs.
  • Lead by example in asynchronous workflows and transparent communication.
  • Use AI tools to improve productivity, decision-making, and workflow efficiency.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Cursor and/or Claude Code is required, with the ability to autonomously build, debug, and ship functional code or prototypes.
  • Experience as a senior product manager in a multi-product, high-growth scale-up company.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end payroll processes and HR functions.
  • Hands-on experience building payroll software and systems is preferred.
  • Experience launching products or features that leveraged AI.
  • Strong strategic and tactical judgment for prioritizing work and defining feature scope.
  • Experience using data to set and track goals and drive results.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across operations, business, sales, finance, product, and other departments.
  • Business-level proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • A proactive, can-do approach to solving problems with speed and efficiency.
  • Availability to submit application materials in English, including a PDF CV or LinkedIn profile.
