Description

  • Own credit risk assessment and reserve management, including the strategy, models, and tooling used to evaluate and mitigate risk.
  • Own fraud controls, freeze mechanisms, and dispute workflows to detect and prevent fraud proactively.
  • Own end-to-end onboarding compliance, including KYB verification, AML screening, and background checks.
  • Drive automation and system design that reduce manual effort while maintaining regulatory defensibility.
  • Build flexible, platform-oriented risk and compliance systems that operations teams can configure and extend without engineering involvement.
  • Partner with Collections and Treasury on risk reserves, payment blocks, and enforcement actions.
  • Own the admin and customer-facing surfaces that support collections, enforcement, and compliance workflows.
  • Lead iterative product delivery with a focus on throughput, ROI, automation rates, false-positive reduction, and risk accuracy.
  • Align stakeholders across Risk, Compliance, Treasury, Legal, Collections, Engineering, and senior leadership.
  • Translate complex risk trade-offs into clear product decisions and execution plans.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Cursor and/or Claude Code is required.
  • Ability to autonomously build, debug, and ship functional code and prototypes, not just write specs.
  • Strong AI fluency with a point of view on how AI and automation can improve risk operations.
  • Seasoned Product Manager with a track record on platform, API, or operational products.
  • Platform mindset with experience building systems that scale without proportional increases in manual work or complexity.
  • Strong UX sensibilities for both admin and customer-facing experiences.
  • Outstanding communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams and async workflows.
  • Data-driven decision-making experience, including querying data and working with visualization tools.
  • Fast learner with a growth mindset and strong judgment in strategic and tactical decisions.
  • Business-level proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Experience with risk/compliance platforms and third-party screening or fraud detection tooling is a plus.
