Description

Act as the subject matter expert for Nordic payroll, with a focus on Denmark.
Attend sales calls as the Country Payroll Lead.
Participate in sales handover, client handover, and client kick-off calls.
Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of global payroll implementation projects.
Guide implementations from inception through parallel runs and the first month of live payroll before handoff to Payroll Operations.
Maintain records of implementation decisions and ensure Payroll Operations has full visibility into required SOPs.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans and timelines.
Serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams, customers, and other stakeholders during implementation.
Develop and implement standardized payroll processes, project plans, and procedures.
Provide ongoing support during and after implementation to resolve issues and challenges.
Support the wider implementation and operations teams.
Monitor KPIs and SLAs.
Mentor, support, and lead Payroll Generalists working alongside you.
Work with internal teams to improve the platform, including UAT testing and documenting changes.

Requirements

Extensive payroll experience in a client payroll environment.
Expert legislative knowledge of the Nordics, with specialism in Denmark.
Payroll implementation experience.
Strong communication skills for explaining payroll processes and issues to customers and stakeholders.
Strong experience using Intega payroll software in Denmark.
Deep knowledge of local payroll tools such as SAP, Excel, and Google Sheets.
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, international work environment.
Experience in accounting and reconciliations.
A proactive, productivity-focused approach with an interest in improving and speeding up work.
Ability to work largely asynchronously.
Fluency in written and spoken English.
Remote work experience is a plus, though not required.
