Description

  • Serve as the subject matter expert on Time & Attendance matters and support complex projects related to employment law changes and Collective Bargaining Agreement updates.
  • Manage employee lifecycle cases involving leave, sick leave, time tracking, public holidays, and working time for internal and external employees.
  • Advise clients and employees on employment legislation, labor law, and legal interpretations in employment agreements.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including payroll, legal counsel, and government bodies, to maintain compliance across employee lifecycle activities.
  • Support HR and financial audits and help manage initiatives affecting employees across multiple countries.
  • Develop, update, and maintain global internal documentation related to Time & Attendance.
  • Respond proactively to internal and external inquiries on employment matters in collaboration with Lifecycle stakeholders.
  • Identify and contribute to process improvements, automation, product development, and better customer and employee experiences.
  • Safely manage employee data and confidential information while following established protocols and documentation standards.
  • Promote Remote’s values and support the goals of the Lifecycle team.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing employee lifecycle events with care, sensitivity, and legal compliance.
  • Experience providing HR support and guidance on employment laws and regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Strong communication, influencing, conflict management, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to lead difficult conversations professionally and maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Advanced business-level written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Ability to innovate and optimize processes, including identifying and implementing automation opportunities.
  • Strong operational efficiency with attention to documentation and data integrity.
  • Comfort working asynchronously with various tools and adapting to new systems.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, remote, international environment with multiple priorities.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Notion, Slack, Zendesk, and G Suite.
  • Enthusiasm for AI and a foundational understanding of its practical applications in operations and automation.
  • Priority consideration for applicants located in India, Philippines, Pakistan, Nepal, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Mongolia, Cambodia, or Thailand.
