Description

  • Serve as an expert on Time & Attendance matters and support senior specialists on complex projects.
  • Manage employee lifecycle leave and working hours cases, including family leave, sick leave, time tracking, public holidays, and working time.
  • Advise clients and employees on employment law changes, collective bargaining agreement updates, and labor law interpretations.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders such as payroll, legal counsel, and government bodies to ensure compliance.
  • Support HR and financial audits related to local employment regulations across multiple countries.
  • Develop, update, and maintain global internal documentation on Time & Attendance and legislative changes.
  • Respond to internal and external inquiries on employment matters in collaboration with lifecycle stakeholders.
  • Identify and contribute to process improvements, automation, product development, and better employee/customer experiences.
  • Safely manage employee data and confidential information with discretion and strong documentation standards.
  • Promote Remote’s values and contribute to the Lifecycle team’s goals.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing employee lifecycle events with care, sensitivity, and legal compliance.
  • Experience providing HR support and guidance on employment laws and regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Strong communication, influencing, conflict management, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to lead difficult conversations professionally while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Advanced business-level written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Enthusiasm for process optimization, automation, and best practices.
  • Strong operational discipline with attention to documentation and data integrity.
  • Tech-savvy and able to collaborate asynchronously using tools and adapt to evolving systems.
  • Ability to work independently and in an international team in a fast-paced, remote environment with multiple priorities.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
  • Familiarity with Notion, Slack, Zendesk, and G Suite is preferred.
  • Foundational understanding of AI and its practical applications in operations and automation is preferred.
