Description

  • Serve as custodian of employment terms and agreements for Remote’s external employees and clients.
  • Draft, tailor, and administer employee lifecycle documents such as amendments, letters, forms, and employment agreements.
  • Advise clients and employees on employment legislation, agreement terms, and legal interpretations across jurisdictions.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders including payroll, legal counsel, government bodies, and trade unions to ensure compliance.
  • Support critical initiatives affecting employees across multiple countries and assist with HR and financial audits.
  • Develop and update global contracts management documentation in response to legislative changes.
  • Respond to internal and external inquiries on employment matters in collaboration with Lifecycle stakeholders.
  • Identify and contribute to process improvements, automation, and product development to improve employee and customer experience.
  • Safely manage employee data and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing employee lifecycle events with care, sensitivity, and legal compliance.
  • Experience providing HR support and guidance on employment laws and regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, conflict management, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to lead difficult conversations to positive outcomes while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Advanced written and spoken English at business level; additional languages are a plus.
  • Aptitude and enthusiasm for process improvement, automation, and best practices.
  • Strong operational discipline with attention to documentation and data integrity.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, asynchronous, remote international environment.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Notion, Slack, Zendesk, and G-suite.
  • Location preference for APAC candidates is prioritized.
  • Experience with automation and AI capabilities is expected in every role at Remote.
