Description

  • Serve as the primary contact for payroll-related inquiries via email, live chat, and video calls.
  • Provide advanced support for complex payroll issues and prioritize customer satisfaction throughout the support journey.
  • Partner with Customer Experience, Payroll Operations, Benefits, Tax, and Finance teams to resolve issues accurately and within SLAs.
  • Create and update documentation to strengthen team knowledge and support knowledge sharing.
  • Participate in shadowing sessions and collaborate with peers to improve team effectiveness.
  • Use problem-solving skills to help resolve escalated customer issues promptly.
  • Maintain a reliable, proactive approach to ownership in a fast-paced, async environment.

Requirements

  • Experience in a payroll customer service role.
  • Strong understanding of payroll regulatory requirements, including advanced knowledge in specific jurisdictions.
  • Excellent problem-solving ability and a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with customer support platforms such as Zendesk.
  • Experience with collaboration tools such as Slack and Notion.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders and manage multiple priorities.
  • Interest in continuously growing payroll expertise.
