Description

  • Execute technical SEO, including schema, metadata, content optimisation, Core Web Vitals, indexability, canonicals, and crawl-budget audits.
  • Build client entities across Schema.org, Wikidata, Wikipedia, and industry databases to improve AI search citations.
  • Optimise content for visibility in Google AI Overviews, Perplexity, ChatGPT, Gemini, and other answer engines.
  • Maintain llms.txt, robots.txt AI crawler directives, and machine-readable Markdown across client domains.
  • Build, optimise, and scale Google Ads, Meta, and LinkedIn campaigns against ROAS and CPA targets.
  • Manage Google Merchant Center feeds for Shopping and Performance Max campaigns.
  • Track rankings, LLM citation frequency, and entity visibility using SE Ranking.
  • Maintain GA4 and Google Tag Manager tracking and provide monthly and quarterly client performance updates.
  • Work directly with clients to explain technical search concepts in clear, accessible language.

Requirements

  • 2–4+ years of hands-on experience across SEO and paid media; agency experience preferred.
  • Experience managing client paid-media budgets of £10,000+ per month.
  • Hands-on experience building, editing, and optimising pages in WordPress.
  • Practical experience with AEO and GEO, including AI citations, Wikidata or Wikipedia entities, llms.txt, Schema.org, and AI crawler permissions.
  • Experience with SE Ranking, GA4, Google Tag Manager, Screaming Frog, and Google Search Console.
  • Experience managing Google Merchant Center product feeds for Shopping and Performance Max.
  • Strong client communication skills and the ability to explain technical search concepts in plain English.
  • Experience with Shopify, WooCommerce, or Magento preferred.
  • Working knowledge of server-side tracking, first-party data strategies, or international campaigns preferred.

Benefits

  • Salary of R36,000–R40,000 per month.
  • Fully remote work from South Africa for a UK agency during UK business hours.
