Description

Manage the full production workflow from raw footage intake through final client-approved delivery.
Edit high volumes of paid advertising content, often creating 20 to 50 assets from a single shoot.
Deliver completed content within approximately seven to ten days.
Make creative and technical decisions within client briefs and brand guidelines.
Manage review, amendment and approval cycles using Frame.io.
Interpret timestamped client feedback and implement revisions accurately.
Organize, manage and archive footage and completed assets in Google Drive.
Review and improve editing processes, standard operating procedures and production workflows.
Use AI tools for auto-clipping, transcription, content organization and batch processing.
Support hiring, training and management of junior editors as the team grows.

Requirements

Strong professional video editing experience in a creative agency, advertising agency or production house.
Proven experience in a high-volume, fast-turnaround production environment.
Experience editing paid advertising content rather than primarily long-form, documentary or narrative content.
Experience producing multiple advertising variations from a single shoot.
Ability to manage around 20 to 50 creative assets within a seven-to-ten-day turnaround.
Strong understanding of performance-focused content for Meta, Google and YouTube.
Proficiency using Frame.io for reviews, amendments, timestamped feedback and approvals.
Strong Google Drive file management and content-archiving skills.
Experience using artificial intelligence tools to improve editing and production efficiency.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines and client requirements.
Ability to work independently, solve problems and take initiative without detailed instructions.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain quality across a large volume of content.
Comfortable working with footage ranging from smartphone recordings to high-end professional camera systems.
Reliable internet connection and a suitable remote working environment in South Africa.
Previous experience managing, mentoring or quality-checking junior video editors is advantageous.
Experience working in a performance marketing or paid social agency is advantageous.
Knowledge of Meta Ads, Google Ads and YouTube advertising formats is advantageous.
Experience using Notion to manage workflows, briefs, tasks or SOPs is advantageous.
Experience designing or improving workflow automations is advantageous.
