Description

  • Act as subject matter expert for an assigned country, owning payroll operations and local compliance.
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders across Payroll Implementation, Finance, Product, and Engineering.
  • Process full end-to-end in-house payroll including statutory filings, exceptions, approvals, payments, and compliance activities.
  • Ensure full data integrity and quality across payroll systems and records.
  • Perform accounting tasks and payroll reconciliations.
  • Monitor and drive performance against KPIs and SLAs.
  • Design, implement, and improve payroll processes and automation to increase efficiency.
  • Mentor and support payroll specialists and provide backup to regional managers during absences.

Requirements

  • Payroll management or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of payroll best practices and statutory filing requirements.
  • Proficiency with payroll and spreadsheet tools such as SAP and Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, international, and asynchronous work environment.
  • Productivity-focused mindset with a drive to improve and speed up workflows.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
  • Experience mentoring or supporting junior colleagues (preferred).
  • Previous remote work experience is not required but is considered a plus.
