Description

  • Define and execute the global strategy for payroll customer service, aligned with company goals and growth plans.
  • Lead a high-performance, 24/7 support model that meets or exceeds SLAs and key customer experience metrics.
  • Collaborate with Payroll Operations, Compliance, Legal, Tax, Implementation, and other stakeholders to deliver seamless end-to-end service.
  • Improve operational efficiency by automating manual work and upskilling the team to handle more complex cases.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to turn customer pain points into product and self-service improvements.
  • Lead, coach, and scale a global management team while building a culture of accountability and growth.
  • Manage complex customer escalations and conduct root cause analysis to prevent recurring issues.
  • Support Sales and Customer Experience with payroll collateral and participation in prospect meetings.
  • Drive innovation and transformation across global payroll support services.
  • Ensure payroll services are delivered compliantly, efficiently, and consistently across all regions.

Requirements

  • Proven leadership experience managing and scaling service operations, ideally in payroll or HR.
  • Track record of implementing strategies that improve customer experience.
  • Experience in a global, remote-first organization is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive decisions.
  • Experience managing complex escalations and multiple high-priority projects simultaneously.
  • A kind, proactive leadership style focused on building a high-performance, collaborative culture.
  • Strong experience using automation and integrations to reduce manual workload and improve efficiency.
  • Proactive and innovative mindset with a focus on improving customer service operations.
  • Fluent English and exceptional interpersonal skills for influencing stakeholders globally.
  • Knowledge of customer service management software systems and tools.
  • Experience working remotely is a plus.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, international environments.
