Description

Manage and optimize AWS infrastructure with a focus on cost control and resilience.
Operate, maintain, and improve the Nomad orchestration platform (including migration activities from Kubernetes).
Maintain and enhance Octopus Deploy CI/CD pipelines to support reliable deployments.
Implement and enforce infrastructure-as-code practices using Terraform/OpenTofu.
Support and coordinate deployments across development, staging, and production environments and across multiple countries.
Ensure platform availability meets agreed SLAs and proactively monitor system health.
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment incidents efficiently and participate in incident resolution and root cause analysis (within business hours).
Implement and maintain infrastructure-level security best practices, including access control, secrets management, and environment segregation.
Partner with backend, frontend, and mobile teams to improve deployment workflows and environment consistency.
Document processes, architecture, and operational runbooks to support reliable operations and handovers.

Requirements

Strong experience with AWS core services (EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC, etc.).
Proven hands-on experience with container orchestration (Nomad; experience with Kubernetes).
Experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines, ideally with Octopus Deploy.
Experience with Terraform/OpenTofu for infrastructure-as-code.
Familiarity with networking, load balancing, and monitoring in cloud environments.
Experience with multi-region deployments and managing country-specific configurations.
Knowledge of telecom integrations and connectivity challenges in emerging markets.
Familiarity with deployment environments for Node.js, React, PHP, or Java applications.
Strong problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and excellent cross-functional communication skills.
Experience in healthcare or other regulated industries (preferred).
