Description

Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements with customers, partners, and vendors.
Advise on regulatory and compliance matters affecting a SaaS business, including privacy, data, and AI legislation.
Collaborate with colleagues across business functions to support practical commercial decision-making.
Act as a trusted legal advisor to EMEA and APAC business teams.
Report to the Legal Director based in Helsinki.
Help shape commercial decisions and move the business forward confidently.
Develop processes and improve ways of working within the legal function.
Support the business as it expands across international markets.

Requirements

At least 5 years of relevant legal experience in-house or at a law firm.
Exposure to commercial contracting.
In-house experience in the technology sector is highly desirable.
Solid understanding of privacy, data, and AI legislation or similar technology-related compliance matters.
Strong drafting and negotiation skills with attention to detail.
Ability to give pragmatic, business-oriented advice in a fast-paced environment.
Fluent in written and spoken English.
Law degree with strong academic credentials.
Qualified solicitor or barrister in England & Wales, or an equivalent qualification where relevant.
Based in the United Kingdom, preferably close to London.
Professional working proficiency in other relevant languages such as French or German is a bonus.
Experience in a SaaS or technology company is a bonus.
Comfortable using AI in day-to-day work and helping develop AI tools as part of organizational strategy.
