Description

  • Support hospital robot deployments from pre-installation planning through go-live and early adoption.
  • Conduct site-readiness activities, including network validation, robot configuration, mapping, workflow testing, and customer acceptance testing.
  • Provide onsite technical support for installations, upgrades, and customer deployments.
  • Investigate robot, infrastructure, cloud service, integration, and customer-environment issues using logs, bagfiles, telemetry, and test results.
  • Support L2/L3 technical escalations and partner with Engineering, Support, and Field Operations to resolve issues.
  • Participate in customer discovery, planning, and deployment calls; translate workflow and technical needs into implementation plans.
  • Support customer training, go-live activities, and communication with hospital IT, facilities, clinical, and internal stakeholders.
  • Create and improve installation playbooks, troubleshooting guides, checklists, training materials, and internal documentation.
  • Identify process gaps and contribute to repeatable operational practices and internal systems improvements.
  • Own cross-functional special projects spanning Support, Field Operations, Solutions, Customer Success, Sales, Product, and Engineering.

Requirements

  • 0–3 years of experience in a technical, operations, support, implementation, software, IT, field services, or solution-delivery role.
  • Technical foundation in computer science, information systems, engineering, IT, or a related field.
  • Comfort using the Linux command line and navigating file systems.
  • Understanding of networking concepts including IP addresses, DHCP, DNS, ports, firewalls, WiFi, and VPNs.
  • Experience with Python or another scripting or programming language.
  • Familiarity with databases, logs, APIs, and cloud-connected systems, including AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel 20–40% to customer sites and work professionally in healthcare environments.
  • Experience with robotics, autonomous systems, hardware/software deployments, IT infrastructure, or field engineering (preferred).
  • Experience with technical debugging, cloud logging or monitoring, SQL or data analysis, customer implementations, healthcare, logistics, or enterprise environments (preferred).
