Description

  • Balance technical, cost, and schedule constraints by evaluating options, investigating scenarios, and proposing solutions.
  • Own the scope of verification activities for integration, test, and launch site checkouts.
  • Follow the vehicle through its lifecycle to ensure consistency in quality and process.
  • Drive systems through qualification, acceptance, and hotfire test campaigns by writing and reviewing test objectives, test matrices, and test plans.
  • Enable manufacturing teams to scale by owning specific off-nominal work scope.
  • Collaborate across functions to help design, build, test, fly, recover, and reuse Terran R.
  • Define requirements, verification events, tools, guidance, and processes with operability in mind.
  • Support major test campaigns and launch-site operations as needed.
  • Travel to test and launch sites and work shifted schedules or weekends for critical milestones when required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technical aptitude and a basic understanding of Mechanical, Fluids, and Avionics disciplines.
  • Graduate degree in engineering or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience with aerospace ERP systems and technical planning is preferred.
  • Proven experience in design, manufacturing, assembly, and testing of complex aerospace systems is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical problems for a broader audience is preferred.
  • Leadership or coordination experience in a multidisciplinary engineering project is preferred.
  • Ability to travel to test and launch sites and work shifted schedules or weekends for critical milestones.
