Description

  • Troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) equipment.
  • Perform Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures as an authorized person under proper safety conditions.
  • Conduct daily safety and task planning discussions, including pre-task planning, Job Hazard Assessments (JHAs), and Risk Assessments (RAs).
  • Interact with vendors and customers in a professional manner.
  • Support onsite field work and may supervise field activities with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Perform physical labor related to operations and maintenance work at solar energy project sites.
  • Adapt to changing duties based on business and client needs.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of electrical experience related to electrical systems and components.
  • 2+ years of renewable energy experience preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to meet Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) requirements.
  • Commitment to safety and strong attention to detail with the ability to recognize potential issues and provide safe solutions.
  • Post-secondary education preferred.
  • Electrical certifications such as OSHA 10, OSHA 30, and NFPA70E preferred.
  • Valid driver's license held for at least 1 year.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts and travel 100% across the United States.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and work in ergonomically challenging positions.
  • Ability to work in varied climates based on project location.

  • $25.00-$40.00 hourly pay, depending on experience, plus per diem.
