Description

  • Lead sourcing and supplier management for major vehicle structures while meeting cost, quality, and delivery targets.
  • Develop and execute supply chain strategies, including supplier selection, long-term agreements, and capacity planning to support Terran R build schedules.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing Operations, and Planning to align procurement with program milestones and design for manufacturability.
  • Drive supplier performance through risk management, contract negotiations, milestone-based tracking, and recovery actions.
  • Mentor and support team members, building expertise in aerospace manufacturing processes and supplier development.
  • Act as a thought leader for relevant commodities and continuously improve sourcing processes, supplier health, and program readiness.
  • Work closely with stakeholders across vehicle engineering, manufacturing operations, and supply chain planning to design and scale supply chains for complex components.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 9+ years of professional experience in supply chain, sourcing, or procurement.
  • Direct experience managing avionics commodities in aerospace, such as PCBs, PCBAs, machined components, harnessing, EEE components, and instrumentation.
  • Demonstrated experience managing suppliers for complex aerospace or advanced manufacturing commodities.
  • Proven success improving supplier performance through KPIs, recovery plans, and long-term agreements.
  • Proven track record of negotiating contracts and managing milestone-based agreements.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as LN, SAP, Oracle, or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing processes such as machining, PCB/PCBA manufacturing, and harness manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with AS9100 and NADCAP standards, supplier qualifications, and audit processes.
  • New Product Development (NPD) or New Product Introduction (NPI) supply chain experience, preferably in aerospace or frontier technology industries.
  • Proficiency in supplier risk assessment, cost modeling, and capacity planning.
  • MBA or advanced degree in Supply Chain, Business, or Engineering is preferred.
