Description

  • Play a key role in the software development life cycle from initial concept through trade studies, design, implementation, and iteration.
  • Develop applications that plan and schedule purchasing and manufacturing operations.
  • Build tools for accessing and analyzing engine and component test data.
  • Follow agile development practices and deliver software through continuous integration and deployment.
  • Work directly with users and stakeholder teams to define system requirements, implement solutions, and iterate.
  • Solve complex problems with simple, practical software solutions.
  • Collaborate across design, materials, manufacturing, test, and launch teams to deliver enterprise applications and automation systems.
  • Contribute to the development of industrial automation, data analytics infrastructure, and AI-enabled tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related Engineering field (Computer, Software, Electrical, Aerospace).
  • 7+ years of experience building, shipping, and iterating on multiple apps and services.
  • Experience designing in collaboration with non-software stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in preferred programming languages and tools, with willingness to learn new ones.
  • Expertise in front-end frameworks, especially React, and related tools.
  • Passion for mentoring and growing other engineers.
  • Experience designing and scaling service architectures that support high-performance front-end operations (preferred).
  • Experience with systems-level programming, including synchronization primitives and memory management (preferred).
  • Experience developing low-latency, safety-critical front ends (preferred).
  • Experience developing, debugging, and shipping software products in large codebases across platforms and tools (preferred).
  • Python, React, TypeScript, and Go experience.
  • Experience with Spark, Iceberg, DuckDB, Redshift, DBT, Postgres, and Mongo.
  • Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Helm.
