Description

Design, implement, and maintain features for SBOM generation and SCA scanning engines.
Use AI coding tools daily to speed up development, testing, and review while applying sound engineering judgment.
Stay current on emerging AI coding technologies and help adopt tools that improve developer experience.
Build and improve data pipelines that ingest package registry, vulnerability, and license data at scale.
Write clean, well-tested code and participate in code reviews with senior engineers.
Investigate detection accuracy issues and improve scan quality continuously.
Collaborate with QA, product, and other engineering teams across the SCA platform.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
1-3+ years of professional experience.
Solid foundation in data structures and algorithms.
Experience with at least one systems or backend language such as Python, Go, C/C++, Java, or Rust.
Hands-on experience using AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT, or similar on actual projects.
Fundamentals in machine learning and data processing, including classification, embeddings, and evaluation metrics.
Comfort working with structured and unstructured data, including parsing, transforming, and analyzing datasets.
Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.
Ability to read and communicate in English, both written and verbal.
Curiosity, ownership, and a habit of verifying AI-generated output.
Rust programming experience is a plus.
Exposure to LLM APIs, prompt engineering, RAG, or AI-assisted feature development is a plus.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, or Linux environments is a plus.
Contributions to open-source projects are a plus.
