Description

  • Develop high-quality content for Hack The Box platforms.
  • Test, review, and maintain labs, challenges, and machines.
  • Collaborate daily with the Content Development team, Infrastructure team, and other stakeholders.
  • Create content and make technical decisions that support business goals.
  • Conduct ongoing research and training to stay current on vulnerabilities, exploits, tools, tactics, and procedures.
  • Automate workflows to improve content production and testing efficiency.
  • Assist with the engineering of offensive and defensive cybersecurity content.
  • Contribute to a highly collaborative content team environment.

Requirements

  • Native or bilingual proficiency in English, including speaking, reading, and writing.
  • Experience in ICS and SCADA security and simulations.
  • Experience with OT protocols, network topologies, and historical critical attacks.
  • Working knowledge of scripting languages, especially Python.
  • Knowledge of AI technologies.
  • Highly organized, motivated, and strongly interested in information security.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to learn new skills quickly.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently and remotely.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Prior penetration testing experience in OT environments is a strong plus (preferred).
  • Experience in web application and/or network penetration testing (preferred).
  • Prior experience creating vulnerable ICS CTF challenges and/or machines (preferred).
  • Hack The Box CTF experience or Elite Hacker rank or higher (preferred).
  • BSc in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience (preferred).
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies (preferred).
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware Workstation, ESXi, or vCenter (preferred).
  • System administration experience with Windows, Linux, or similar systems (preferred).
