Description

  • Build and manage AWS GovCloud environments using AWS CDK in TypeScript.
  • Enforce compliance rules and NIST control mappings from the initial infrastructure stack.
  • Design and maintain networking, compute, data stores, and secrets management.
  • Architect high-performance CI/CD pipelines with affected-only builds, remote caching, merge queues, and test sharding.
  • Maintain fast and reliable pull request gate performance across the engineering workflow.
  • Build compliance-as-code pipelines that generate security authorization evidence and support signed artifacts with provenance.
  • Implement Zero Trust architecture with CAC/ICAM-integrated identity, mTLS, policy-as-code authorization, and continuous posture monitoring.
  • Translate infrastructure problems into precise specifications for AI agents and review merged code to production standards.
  • Refine the team’s versioned engineering harness, rules, and developer workflow.
  • Debug issues across the stack, including application code and database schemas, and support application engineering feedback loops.

Requirements

  • Must be eligible for a U.S. Secret security clearance.
  • 3+ years of experience with a clear upward trajectory in cloud-native roles.
  • Hands-on experience with agentic AI development tools such as Codex, Claude Code, or equivalent on production codebases.
  • Deep fluency in TypeScript and AWS CDK.
  • Software engineering experience with Node.js and PostgreSQL/Prisma.
  • Experience with container orchestration technologies such as EKS or ECS.
  • Proven experience operating cloud infrastructure for DoD IL4 or similar high-security environments.
  • Experience with STIGs and hardening containers or operating system images is preferred.
  • Background in developer experience or build-performance optimization is preferred.
  • Experience bridging modern infrastructure with legacy systems such as Oracle 19c or PL/SQL is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Temporal workflows for long-running processes is preferred.
