Description

  • Design and implement Snowflake RBAC architecture with row-level security across multiple role tiers.
  • Build and maintain data models for performance measures, calibration history, audit logs, and goal-tracking workflows.
  • Manage nightly HRIS data feeds and keep workforce data current for organizational changes, leaves, and terminations.
  • Integrate revenue goal data from existing Snowflake sources to support real-time goal synchronization.
  • Build and maintain a full audit trail for goal and rating changes to support manager, HRBP, and executive workflows.
  • Implement GDPR and CCPA-compliant anonymization, including right-to-be-forgotten workflows for sensitive performance records.
  • Enforce Snowflake access governance and ensure data exposure is auditable and restricted to authorized users.
  • Optimize Snowflake queries and warehouse configurations to support responsive dashboards during peak review periods.
  • Maintain a sandbox schema for development and testing without impacting production data.
  • Collaborate with the App Developer, Legal, IT, and People stakeholders to deliver compliant, well-documented data interfaces and confirm system-of-record requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field, plus 2+ years of relevant experience; or a Master’s degree with 6+ months of relevant experience.
  • Strong SQL skills, including query optimization, indexing, and building production tables and views in Snowflake.
  • Experience with Snowflake features such as dynamic data masking, row access policies, and time travel.
  • Hands-on experience designing and implementing RBAC in Snowflake, including role hierarchies, row-level security, and access policy governance.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain data pipelines and ETL/ELT jobs using dbt, Airflow, Fivetran, or custom Python pipelines.
  • Experience integrating with HRIS platforms such as UKG/UltiPro, Workday, or similar via API or SFTP feeds.
  • Familiarity with data governance and compliance requirements, including GDPR/CCPA anonymization, audit logging, and right-to-be-forgotten patterns.
  • Strong data modeling skills for normalized schemas supporting goal tracking, rating workflows, and calibration history.
  • Knowledge of analytics engineering best practices, including Git, code review, testing, and documentation.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work with non-technical HR and People Operations stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting HR, performance management, or workforce analytics data products at a similar scale (~1,000–2,000 employees) is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Streamlit in Snowflake or similar lightweight app frameworks is preferred.
  • Experience with BI tools such as Tableau or Looker is preferred.
  • Exposure to Snowflake cost governance and compute management is preferred.
