Description

  • Build modular, well-tested dbt SQL models and optimize transformation logic for performance and maintainability.
  • Refactor and improve existing dbt pipelines to keep the warehouse fast and cost-efficient as data volume grows.
  • Maintain and extend ingestion scripts in Go and Python to bridge product data into BI systems.
  • Design and operate orchestration and pipeline workflows with high reliability and availability.
  • Develop internal automation and LLM-powered workflows for data classification, sentiment analysis, and research support.
  • Own reverse ETL and data activation flows that sync critical business signals into GTM tools for Sales, Marketing, and Success.
  • Strengthen data governance through lineage, documentation, data quality testing, and data contract enforcement.
  • Collaborate with data, engineering, backend, Sales/RevOps, Marketing, Product, and AI stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews, documentation, and engineering standards that support a high-trust analytics environment.

Requirements

  • Significant experience building and managing complex dbt projects.
  • Strong experience with Google BigQuery or a similar cloud data warehouse.
  • Deep understanding of partitioning, clustering, and cost optimization in cloud warehouses.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python.
  • Ability or strong interest to work with Go for ingestion script maintenance.
  • Experience with Airflow and Docker is a significant plus.
  • Experience with CI/CD for data and an "Analytics as Code" mindset.
  • Strong discipline around documentation, data contracts, and data lineage.
  • Ability to proactively monitor and resolve data freshness and reliability issues.
  • Strong communication skills and comfort working with cross-functional stakeholders in a remote environment.
