Description

  • Lead and mentor medical writers across assigned therapeutic areas and client accounts.
  • Review and revise medical content for scientific accuracy and alignment with client strategies.
  • Advise clients on medical communication strategies, tactics, and deliverables.
  • Serve as the primary medical contact for clients, providing strategic and tactical guidance.
  • Ensure deliverables meet scientific, consistency, compliance, client, and industry standards.
  • Coordinate with account and project leads on scope, budgets, resourcing, timelines, and communication.
  • Support business development through proposal development and client pitches.
  • Contribute to departmental and agency-wide initiatives as assigned.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of healthcare communications experience in an agency setting.
  • Advanced degree in life sciences, medicine, pharmacy, or a related field; PhD, MD, or PharmD preferred.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including scientific storytelling for physicians and specialists.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, accounts, and deadlines while maintaining quality.
  • Strong scientific data analysis, strategic thinking, leadership, teamwork, and client-service skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Familiarity with online proofing platforms such as Workfront Proof or Ziflow and with Veeva Vault.
  • Proficiency using AI tools responsibly for research and content development.
  • Ability to work Eastern US hours; applicants may be based in eligible US offices, remotely in the US, or remotely in Canada.
