Description

  • Execute purchasing activities for assigned categories.
  • Request and evaluate supplier quotations with a focus on purchase efficiency.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
  • Ensure timely acquisition of materials, components, and services.
  • Maintain supplier records and procurement documentation.
  • Work with Project Managers and Engineering on delivery planning.
  • Monitor purchase orders and resolve delivery issues transparently.
  • Support compliance by applying procurement policies.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of purchasing processes.
  • Advise and support departments in purchasing soft- and hardware.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in purchasing or a related field.
  • Experience in space or electronics is a plus.
  • Strong affinity for electronics is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to develop long-term supplier relationships.
  • Ability to maintain a broad view across projects and strong administrative skills.
  • Initiative and ownership to improve processes.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Experience with export control is an asset.
  • Knowledge of Dutch or French is an asset.
  • A love for space is considered a big plus.
  • Ability to pass a police/criminal record check that is no more than six months old.
  • ITAR approval/eligibility is required.
