Description

  • Collaborate, build, and lead key components of Raya backend services.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including UX designers and data scientists, to deliver comprehensive solutions.
  • Stay current with Raya's tech ecosystem and help ensure solutions remain scalable, maintainable, and innovative.
  • Prioritize user experience by incorporating feedback loops and data-driven methods to define and refine product features.
  • Own the full software development lifecycle, including agile practices, CI/CD, and Raya's engineering best practices.
  • Contribute to the development of recommendation-related backend capabilities and related production systems.
  • Build solutions that support rapid iteration, shipping, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in modern software development environments.
  • Proven track record of delivering scalable and maintainable systems.
  • Strong expertise in system design and architecture.
  • Mastery of Golang.
  • Experience building and scaling backend systems in production at a startup or fast-moving environment.
  • Experience with production recommendation systems and/or machine learning model deployment or integration.
  • Enthusiasm for new AI tools and frameworks, with a willingness to quickly adopt emerging best practices.
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional, collaborative environments.
  • A product-minded, impact-driven, and growth-oriented approach is preferred.

Benefits

  • $180,000 - $240,000 a year.
